Each player tries to get rid of the infernal ticking bomb before the time is up. What counts is quick reactions and the right word at the right time. A contestant flips one card and then thinks of a word containing the letters that are printed on the card. Only in this way can the ticking bomb be passed on to the next player. Whoever’s holding the bomb when it goes off has to retain the flipped letter card as a penalty.

All too often the word you think of, as you wait your turn, is used by the preceding player and even those who boast the largest vocabularies, suddenly find their minds go completely blank as the infernal Bomb ticks away. Sounds easy, doesn’t it? Give it a try!

PASS THE BOMB is a tremendous success worldwide and has been translated into 9 different languages: English, French, Danish, Hungarian, Finnish, Czech, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.

In Denmark, the Danish version, CRAZY BOMB, became ‘Game of the Year’ in 1998. Under the name ‘PASS THE BOMB’ it conquered the English speaking market and in 1997, became ‘Game of the Year’ in the UK. In the same year, the French version won a gold medal at the 12th FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DES JEUX in Cannes.
