As many scrabble players know I usually incorporate a fun quiz evenign to the scrabble weekend getaways (Drakensberg, Vaal etc..) 3 sections - advanced/intermediate/social
The advanced and intermediate will play 12 games (4 games on saturday afternoon and 8 games on Sunday). Social players will play 6 games on Sunday.
date: Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th July
times- Saturday 1.15pm, Sunday 8.20am
venue: 199 Oxford Road (Dunkeld) just off Jellicoe Road.
The venue is the culinary productions studio and the tournament will include a braai with an array of vegetables and salad, desserts etc. Coffee on tap will be available throughout and there will also be appertisers and pastries.
This promises to be a culinary experience to remember!

Please book with Lynn Roff (011 728-1688) by no later than Monday 9th July. Please insure that you fax her a copy of the proof of payment by no later than Monday 9th July. This is essential as we have to pay the caterers on Tuesday 10th July and the caterers also need to know the numbers to cater for. Please note that non Members wil be charged a R 50 levy (i.e. if you have not paid your annual scrabble south africa - formerly SANSPA- fees).
Also note that there are only 44 places available for this competition so please make sure that you book immediately.
Please make a special effort to pass on this information to fellow scrabble players. Not everyone has email/internet access and it is very time consuming and costly for Lynn and Larry to make phone calls to everyone.
